TheJCPenney Classic was a mixed teamgolf tournament sponsored by thePGA Tour and theLPGA Tour. Teams consisted of one PGA Tour player and one LPGA Tour player (except in 1967 when the teams were male only). It was played inCalifornia andFlorida. Corporate sponsors wereHaig & Haig,Pepsi-Cola, andJCPenney.[1]
In 2000, the tournament was replaced by theValspar Championship.
