Ivo is alocal government area inEbonyi State, Nigeria.Towns include Akaeze andIshiagu, home of theFederal College of Agriculture, Ishiagu.[1]

Oil pipelines passing through the area have been attacked by armed vandals who broke the pipes and scooped up the oil.[2]Environmental damage caused by spillage has also been reported.[3]
