Ivazzade Halil Pasha (1724–1777) was anOttoman statesman who served asGrand Vizier in 1769. He was the son of Grand VizierIvaz Mehmed Pasha.[1] He was ofAlbanian origin.[2]
He took part in Russian Wars under the title ofserdar-i ekrem (Commander General of the Army).
After he had been excused from military service, he was sequentially appointed to the governorship of theSanjak of Eğriboz (easternCentral Greece), theEyalet of Bosnia, theEyalet of Salonika, and theEyalet of Sivas.
