Ivan Vladimirovich Sergeyev (Russian:Иван Владимирович Сергеев; born 11 May 1995) is a Russian professionalfootballer who plays as astriker forRussian Premier League clubDynamo Moscow and theRussia national team.
He made his professional debut in theRussian Professional Football League forStrogino Moscow on 19 April 2014 in a game againstLokomotiv-2 Moscow.[2]
He made hisRussian Football National League debut forTambov on 4 March 2018 in a game againstRotor Volgograd.[2]
On 11 June 2019, he signed a 2-year contract withTorpedo Moscow after playing for the club on loan in the 2018–19 season.[3]
On 14 August 2020, he signed a 2-year contract withKrylia Sovetov Samara.[4] His first season with Krylia Sovetov was extremely productive, Krylia Sovetov won the2020–21 Russian Football National League and Sergeyev has set a new record for most goals in one season of the Russian second tier, with 39 goals scored as of 5 May 2021.[5] He finished the season with 40 goals. He made hisRussian Premier League debut forKrylia Sovetov Samara on 25 July 2021 in a game againstAkhmat Grozny.[6]
On 10 January 2022, Zenit Saint Petersburg announced the signing of Sergeyev with a 3-season contract.[7]
On 7 May 2023, Sergeyev scored an added-time winner in a game againstSpartak Moscow that secured the2022–23 Russian Premier League title for Zenit.[8]
On 5 September 2024, Sergeyev returned to Krylia Sovetov on a three-year contract.[9] On 1 December 2024, he scored twice and was chosen man of the match on his return toGazprom Arena, as Krylia Sovetov defeatedZenit with the score of 3–2.[10]
On 4 July 2025, Sergeyev signed a contract withDynamo Moscow for three seasons, with an option to extend for fourth.[11]
He was called up to theRussia national football team for the first time in October 2021 for theWorld Cup qualifiers against Cyprus and Croatia. He was included in the extended 41-players list of candidates.[12] He made his debut on 16 October 2023 in a friendly against Kenya.[13]
