Italian football manager

Italo Allodi (Asiago, 13 April 1928 – Florence, 3 June 1999) was an Italianassociation football player and manager.

Career

Allodi was born the son of a railwayman. He served in an official position for various and Italian football clubs, includingMantova,Internazionale,Juventus,Fiorentina andNapoli, winning sixSerie A, twoUEFA Champions League and twoIntercontinental Cup. Allodi was also responsible for recruitingLuciano Moggi as his protégé.[1] During his career, Allodi was accused to partake in somematch fixing scandals, but theItalian Football Federation andUEFA never found him guilty, and he was absolved from every charges.[2] He was inducted into theItalian Football Hall of Fame in 2017.[3]
