Itaim Bibi is a district in thesubprefecture of Pinheiros in the city ofSão Paulo,Brazil. It includes in its area an eponymousneighborhood.
Popularly and in some reports, the region once belonged to the South Zone, but is administered by thePinheiros Subprefecture, being officially integrated into theWest Zone. The administrative change occurred in 2002, under theMarta Suplicy administration; until then, it was part of theSouth-Central Zone (South Zone), being administered by theSanto Amaro Subprefecture.[1]
