TheIsrael Exploration Journal is a biannualacademic journal which has been published by theIsrael Exploration Society since 1950. It primarily covers research inarchaeology, but alsohistory andgeography relating toIsrael and the surrounding areas. Theeditors-in-chief are Shmuel Ahituv, Amihai Mazar, and Z. Weiss. The journal is abstracted and indexed in theArts & Humanities Citation Index andCurrent Contents/Arts & Humanities.[1]
