Isobe Station (磯部駅,Isobe-eki) is arailway station in the city ofAnnaka, Gunma, Japan, operated by theEast Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Isobe Station is a station on theShin'etsu Main Line, and is located 17.6 km from the starting point of the line atTakasaki.

The station has two opposedside platforms connected to the station building by a footbridge. The station has aMidori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.

History

Isobe Station opened on 15 October 1885. With the privatization of theJapanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.

In fiscal 2019, the station was used by an average of 1060 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[1]
