Ipoh Barat is a federal constituency inKinta District ,Perak ,Malaysia , that has been represented in theDewan Rakyat since 1995.
The constituency was created during the 1994 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first-past-the-post voting system. It is one of only two constituencies named after the same city; the other isIpoh Timor .
