Anatomical terminology

Theposterior interosseous recurrent artery (orrecurrent interosseous artery) branches off theposterior interosseous artery near its origin. It ascends between thelateral epicondyle andolecranon, beneath theanconeus, upon or through the substance of thesupinator muscle. It anastomoses with themiddle collateral artery,posterior ulnar recurrent artery, andInferior ulnar collateral artery. The artery is sometimes absent.[1]
