TheInternational Council of Christian Churches (abbreviation:ICCC) was founded on 12 August 1948 at theEnglish Reformed Church, Amsterdam, as afundamentalist Christian group of constituent national churches with opposition to the moreliberal-leaningWorld Council of Churches.
One of the main leaders of the movement wasCarl McIntire, aPresbyterian minister, who also founded a number ofBible colleges and theAmerican Council of Christian Churches.[1][2][3]
