Inoa Baeau (born 21 September 1982) is a Papua New Guineancricketer.[1] A left-handedbatsman and right-armmedium pacebowler,[2] he has played for thePapua New Guinea national cricket team since 2003.[3]
Baeau's first taste of representativecricket came in 2004, when he represented a combined East Asia/Pacific team in the Australian national country cricket championships. He played for the same team in the 2005 and 2007 tournaments also.[4]
He made his debut for Papua New Guinea at therepêchage tournament for the2005 ICC Trophy.[4] Papua New Guinea beat Fiji in the final,[5] to qualify for the 2005 ICC Trophy inIreland, where Baeau made hisList A debut againstOman,[6] winning theman of the match award after taking threewickets in the Omaninnings.[7]
He most recently played for Papua New Guinea atDivision Three of theWorld Cricket League inDarwin,Australia.[8]
