Inna Yevseyeva (Russian:Инна Евсеева; born 14 August 1964) is a retiredmiddle-distanceathlete who specialised in the800 metres. She was born inZhytomyr,Ukrainian SSR and represented theSoviet Union in the 1980s and the early 1990s, and thenUkraine. A two-time Olympian, Yevseyeva finished sixth in the1988 Olympic 800 m final inSeoul and fourth in the1992 Olympic 800 m final inBarcelona. She set her personal best in the women's 800 metres with 1:56.0 on 4 July 1988 at a meet inKharkov, which made her the fastest 800m woman in the world for 1988.
