Theinfinite workday is a work pattern whereworking time encompasses hours beyond the traditionalworkweek and weekend.[1]

The infinite workday blurs boundaries between personal and work time leading to a continuous cycle of work-related activities. This phenomenon is attributed to the rise ofremote work, flexible work arrangements, improved tooling that enables employees to stay connected withweb conferencing, andhustle culture.[1][2][3] The inifinite workday may negatively impactwork-life balance.[4]
