Ilocos Norte's 2nd congressional district is one of the twocongressional districts of the Philippines in the province ofIlocos Norte. It has been represented in theHouse of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in thePhilippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916.[3] The district consists of the city ofBatac and adjacent municipalities ofBadoc,Banna,Currimao,Dingras,Marcos,Nueva Era,Paoay,Pinili,San Nicolas andSolsona. It is currently represented in the20th Congress by Eugenio Angelo M. Barba of theNacionalista Party (NP).[4]
