Ilja Seifert (6 May 1951 – 10 September 2022) was a German politician. A member of theParty of Democratic Socialism and laterThe Left, he served in theVolkskammer from March to October 1990[1] and in theBundestag from 1990 to 1994, 1998 to 2002, and again from 2005 to 2013.[2]
Seifert died on 10 September 2022, at the age of 71.[3]
