Igor Oca Pulido (born 7 May 1981) is a Spanishfootballmanager, currently in charge ofCD Leganés B.

Career

Born inBasauri,Biscay,Basque Country, Oca began his managerial career withLevante UD'sJuvenil D side in 2011, after previously working as a fitness coach for the youth teams ofVillarreal CF,Real Sociedad andAthletic Bilbao. On 5 June 2014, he was named in charge of theJuvenil A squad of the former.[1]

On 8 July 2016, Oca was appointed manager ofAtlético Madrid'sJuvenil División de Honor team.[2] Ahead of the 2017–18 season, he initially took overDeportivo Alavés'Juvenil A squad,[3] before replacingAitor Orueta at the helm ofthe reserves on 3 October 2017.[4]

Oca was dismissed by theMiniglorias on 4 March 2019, being replaced byIñaki Alonso.[5] On 30 May, he moved abroad after being named assistant manager of Mexican clubAtlético San Luis, being also in charge of their under-20 team.[6]

Oca returned to his home country on 8 December 2020, after being appointed in charge ofTercera División sideSestao River Club.[7] The following 15 June, afterachieving promotion toSegunda División RFEF, he left the club.[8]

On 25 August 2021, Oca moved to Ecuador and joinedIsmael Rescalvo's staff atEmelec, as his assistant.[9] On 24 March of the following year, he moved to fellow league teamIndependiente del Valle, as the new Head of Youth Football.[10] He was also interim coach ofthe reserve team for three months in that year.[11]

On 28 November 2022, Oca returned to managerial duties after being named manager ofUniversidad Católica del Ecuador.[12] Despite qualifying the club to the2024 Copa Sudamericana, he left on 5 December 2023 as his contract was not renewed.[13]

On 22 April 2024, Oca was named manager ofDeportivo Cuenca, also in the Ecuadorian top tier.[14] On 18 July, he left the club by mutual consent,[15] and took overHuachipato in theChilean Primera División seven days later.[16] On 14 November 2024, Oca left Huachipato following the expiration of his contract.[17]

On 6 March 2025, Oca returned to Sestao for a second spell in charge, with the side now in thePrimera Federación; he replaced the sackedÁngel Viadero.[18] He left on 4 June, as his contract was due to expire,[19] and took overCD Leganés'reserves sixteen days later.[20]
