"Ich komme" (German:[ˈɪçˈkɔmə];transl. "I'm coming") is a song by Finnish singerErika Vikman, and was written and produced byChristel Roosberg andJori Roosberg [fi] (Roos+Berg). The song was released throughWarner Music Finland and Mökkitie Records on 16 January 2025 and will representFinland in theEurovision Song Contest 2025. It reached number two on theFinnish Singles Chart.
"Ich komme" was written and produced byChristel Roosberg andJori Roosberg [fi] (Roos+Berg).[1][2] and combines Finnish disco and electronic music.[3] The lyrics reflect "the joyous message of pleasure, ecstasy and a state of trance"[4] and sexual pleasure and reaching the climax, reflected in its structure, which corresponds to the way a sexual climax is reached.[5]
Finland's broadcasterYleisradio Oy (Yle) organized a seven-entry competition,Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2025 consisting of a singular grand final to select its entrant for theEurovision Song Contest 2025 on 8 February 2025.[6][7] The edition was the 14th iteration ofthe contest. The winner of the final was selected by a 75/25 combination vote of televoting and juries, respectively.[8]
Vikman was announced to competed inUuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2025 on 8 January 2025, while her music video was released on 17 January.[9][10] The song later ended up winning this contest and gets to represent Finland in Eurovision 2025.[11]
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place atSt. Jakobshalle inBasel,Switzerland, and will consist of two semi-finals to be held on the respective dates of 13 and 15 May and the final on 17 May 2025.[12] During the allocation draw held on 28 January 2025, Finland was drawn to compete in the second semi-final, performing in the second half of the show.[13]
