Iceland–Lithuania relations are thebilateral relations betweenIceland andLithuania. Iceland was the first country to recognise the independence of Lithuania in February 1991.[1] Iceland is represented in Lithuania through its embassy inHelsinki (Finland).[2] Lithuania is represented in Iceland through its embassy inCopenhagen (Denmark) and 2 honorary consulates (inMosfellsbær and Reykjavík).[3]

Both countries are full members of theCouncil of the Baltic Sea States,Joint Expeditionary Force,NATO, and theCouncil of Europe. Additionally, they are both part of theNordic-Baltic Eight.
