Ibrahim Qusaya (Arabic:إبراهيم قصيعة; 7 December 1991 – 14 November 2023), also spelled asIbrahim Qassiya orIbrahim Qasia,[1] was a Palestinian volleyball player.[2] He attendedAhmad al-Shaqiri School and received a bachelor's degree in physical education fromAl-Aqsa University.

Sports career

Qusaya was a member of the Palestinian national volleyball team.[3] He won a bronze medal in the 2021 West Asian Beach Soccer Championship.[1][3] Together withAbdallah Al-Arqan he represented Palestine in themen’s beach volleyball event at the2023 Asian Games inNingbo, China.[3]

Death

On 14 November 2023, he was killed in anIsraeli airstrike on Jabalia refugee camp alongside teammate Hassan Zuaiter during theGaza war.[1][better source needed]
