Ibrahim Kargbo Jr. (born 3 January 2000) is a professionalfootballer who plays as astriker forBATE Borisov. Born in Sierra Leone, Kargbo represented Belgium at youth international level.
Born in Sierra Leone, Kargbo moved to Belgium at the age of 8 with his father,Ibrahim Kargbo.[2]
Kargbo played youth football forBeerschot,Reading andCrystal Palace,[3] before signing forRoeselare of theBelgian First Division B in January 2018.[4][5] He moved on loan toLierse Kempenzonen in August 2019.[6]
In December 2019, Kargbo signed for Ukrainian clubDynamo Kyiv.[1] In August 2020, he moved on loan toOlimpik Donetsk.[7] In January 2022, Kargbo was loaned toSlovenian PrvaLiga sideCelje;[8] however, his contract was terminated just one month later.[9]
In August 2022, Kargbo was loaned to Cypriot clubDoxa Katokopias.[10] After half a season in Cyprus, where he made seven league appearances,[11] he returned to Slovenia and signed with Celje on a permanent deal.[12]
In March 2025, Kargbo returned to Belarus, joiningBATE Borisov.[13]
Kargbo represented Belgium internationally atunder-18 andunder-19 levels.[14]
