Ibşir Mustafa Pasha (Ottoman Turkish:ابشير مصطفى پاشا) was anOttoman statesman ofAbkhazian origin, nephew of the governor and rebelAbaza Mehmed Pasha, and prominentCelali rebel. He wasgrand vizier of theOttoman Empire from 28 October 1654 to 11 May 1655.[1] He was also the Ottoman governor ofDamascus Eyalet (province) in 1649. He was a brieflydamat ("bridegroom") to theOttoman dynasty, as he married the Ottoman princessAyşe Sultan.
As governor ofDamascus he was defeated byMulhim ibn Yunus, theDruze emir of theMa'n dynasty inMount Lebanon, in a battle at the Qarnana valley in November 1650.[2]
