ISO 3166-2:DJ is the entry forDjibouti inISO 3166-2, part of theISO 3166standard published by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO), which definescodes for the names of the principalsubdivisions (e.g.,provinces orstates) of allcountries coded inISO 3166-1.

Currently for Djibouti, ISO 3166-2 codes are defined forfive regions and one city. The cityDjibouti is the capital of the country and has special status equal to the regions.

Each code consists of two parts, separated by a hyphen. The first part isDJ, theISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code of Djibouti. The second part is two letters.
