Iroquois-class homeodomain protein IRX-4, also known asIroquois homeobox protein 4, is aprotein that in humans is encoded by theIRX4gene.^[5]^[6]

Function

IRX4 is a member of theIroquois homeobox gene family. Members of this family appear to play multiple roles during pattern formation of vertebrate embryos.^[5]
