Idrettslaget Sandviken is aNorwegian sports club from the neighborhood ofSandviken inBergenhus borough,Bergen. It has sections forbasketball,football andhandball.
It was mostly known for its women's football team that played in theToppserien. It won the league in2021,[1] and theNorwegian Women's Cup in1995.[2] The team was renamedSK Brann Kvinner ahead of the 2022 season.[3][4]
The men's football team currently resides in theNorwegian Second Division, the third tier of theNorwegian football league system.[5]
