IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science is apeer-reviewedscientific journal published monthly by theIEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society. The journal coversplasma science and engineering, including but not limited tomagnetohydrodynamics,thermionics,space plasma and plasma-wave interactions. Its current editor-in-chief isEdl Schamiloglu, a distinguished professor in the department of electrical and computer engineering at theUniversity of New Mexico.[1]
The journal was established in 1973. According to theJournal Citation Reports, it has a 2020impact factor of 1.222.[2] In between 2000 and 2004, it was ranked as number 10 for the impact factor in "Physics - Fluids & Plasmas" by Thomson.[3]
