IDEC Sport Racing, more commonly referred to asIDEC Sport, is a Frenchsports car racing outfit. Born from the ashes of Ruffier Racing in 2015, the team began racingGT3 cars in the24H Series before moving on tosports prototypes.[1][2] Spearheaded byLMP2 acePaul-Loup Chatin for much of its history, IDEC won the2019 European Le Mans Series title and has twice set class pole position at the24 Hours of Le Mans, in2018 and2023.[3][4][5] Although IDEC's corporate colour is red, it has most recently borne the colours of classic French brandsDelage andMatra.[6] It is currently active in both theELMS in LMP2 and theMichelin Le Mans Cup inLMP3.

The team is led by Patrice Lafargue, founder and CEO of the IDEC Group, a real estate construction company also known for its sponsorship ofsailing trimarans.[7][8][9] FormerPeugeot factory driverNicolas Minassian joined him in 2018 as sporting director.[10]

For 2025, The team will partner withGenesis Motor and their teamGenesis Magma Racing to help structure and prepare the team. This includes provididng engineers, technicians and mechanics. While also running a 2nd car in2025 European Le Mans Series withJamie Chadwick and Mathys Jaubert as part of Genesis' Trajectory Program.[11]
