Chemical compound

Ahydrotelluride ortellanide is anion or achemical compound containing the [HTe] anion which has ahydrogen atom connected to atellurium atom. HTe is apseudohalogen. Organic compounds containing the -TeH group are calledtellurols. "Tellanide" is the IUPAC name from the Red Book, but hydrogen(tellanide)(1−) is also listed. "Tellanido" as a ligand is not named, howeverditellanido is used for HTeTe.[1]

Hydrotellurides are usually unstable at room temperature.[2]
