Hwang Mun-ki (Korean: 황문기; born 8 December 1996), simply known asKi, is a South Korean professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder orright-back forPyeongchang United and theSouth Korea national team.
At Portuguese clubAcadémica de Coimbra, Ki made his professional debut in aTaça da Liga match againstMarítimo on 16 September 2015,[citation needed] and made hisPrimeira Liga debut againstTondela on 14 May 2016.[1] After Académica was relegated toLigaPro, Ki played as a multipurposemidfielder for the senior team in earnest. During five years at Académica, he played in 65 matches including 58 LigaPro matches.[1]
Ki made his debut for theSouth Korea national team on 5 September 2024 in aWorld Cup qualifier against Palestine at theSeoul World Cup Stadium. He started the game and played 67 minutes as the game ended in a scoreless draw.[2]
