Hurlingham is a suburb ofJohannesburg,South Africa. Hurlingham has traditionally been an upmarket residential suburb. This residential suburb is located just outside theSandton central business district.[2] It is located in Region B of theCity of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality.
The land was proclaimed as a suburb on 25 May 1938 and is named after an Englishpolo-field.[3] The land is situated on a portion of an oldWitwatersrand farm calledZandfontein.[3]
