TheHunter 27-3 andHunter 27X are a family of Americansailboats that were both designed by Glenn Henderson and both first built in 2006.[1][2][3]
The Hunter 27-3 was originally marketed by the manufacturer as the Hunter 27, but is now usually referred to as the 27-3 to differentiate it from the unrelated 1974Hunter 27, 1989Hunter 27-2 and later designs bearing the same name.[1][4][5]
The designs were built byHunter Marine in theUnited States, but are now out of production.[1][6]
The Hunter 27-3 series are both small recreationalkeelboats, built predominantly offiberglass. They havefractionalsloopB&R rigs, plumb stems, reverse transoms, internally-mounted spade-typerudders controlled bywheels and fixed finkeels.[1]
