Hum Network Limited (Urdu:ہم نیٹ ورک) is a Pakistanimedia company based inIslamabad,Pakistan. It was established in February 2004 bySultana Siddiqui.[2][3]
It is a current member ofAsia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (APBU),Association for International Broadcasting (AIB), andCommonwealth Broadcasting Association (CBA).
Hum Network Limited was established in February 2004 with the name of Eye TV Limited by Siddiqui.[4][5] The name was later changed to Eye Television Network Limited on 18 November 2004. The present name, Hum Network, was adopted on 21 January 2011. It was registered withPakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority in October 2004 to operate its first satellite channelHum TV which went live in January 2005. In June 2005, it was listed on theKarachi Stock Exchange, following aninitial public offering for a price ofPKR 10 per share.[6][7]
In February 2013,Hum Awards were launched.[8][9]
In September 2014, the Network launchedHum Films. Its debut film was released under banner wasNa Maloom Afraad in October 2014.[10][11]
HumMart was anonline retailer which was launched on 20 April 2018 by Duraid Qureshi.[9]
