Hulda D. Robbins (1910–2011) was an American artist.
Robbins was born in 1910 inAtlanta, Georgia.[1] She studied at thePennsylvania Museum and School of Industrial Art, thePrussian Academy of Arts in Berlin, and theBarnes Foundation.[2] Around 1940 she moved to New York City where she worked prolifically to produceserigraphs,lithographs andwoodcut prints.
Robbins's work was included in the 1940 MoMA showAmerican Color Prints Under $10. The show was organized as a vehicle for bringing affordable fineart prints to the general public.[3] She also exhibited in the 1947 and 1951Dallas Museum of Fine Arts exhibitions of theNational Serigraph Society.[4][5]
Her work is in the collections of theMetropolitan Museum of Art,[1] theNoyes Museum,[6] and thePhiladelphia Museum of Art[7]
Robbins died in 2011 inVentnor City, New Jersey.[1]
