Huancapi District is one of twelvedistricts of the provinceVíctor Fajardo inPeru.[1]
The people in the district are mainlyindigenous citizens ofQuechua descent.Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (69.47%) learnt to speak in childhood, 30.40% of the residents started speaking using theSpanish language (2007 Peru Census).[2]
