hr2-kultur is a German, publicradio station owned and operated by theHessischer Rundfunk (HR). It airs a cultural format with a high percentage of spoken word and classical music. Hr2 took over some news formats fromhr1 after its transition into an oldies format.

The station is commercial-free.

The station is available in Hesse viaFM broadcasting andDAB+, and beyond Hesse viaDVB-C,DVB-S andlivestreaming. On 11 February 2013, some of hr2-kultur's FM frequencies were taken over byHr-info andYou FM.[1]
