Hora Sara[1] is an ancient treatise onHindu astrology, in relation todivination, written in theSanskritSloka format. Its author, Prithuyasas, was the son ofVarahamihira (505–587 CE).[2]
The text was represented in the 17th centuryHora Ratna,[3] where it was stated that "Prithuyasas occupies the zenith in the astrological world through his work, Hora Sara".[4]
