Hitoshi Nanba (Japanese:難波日登志,Hepburn:Nanba Hitoshi), also known by his pseudonymNamimi Sanjo, is a Japaneseanime director. Nanba started working in theanime industry in 1982 and directed his first full series in 1989. Since then, some of the series he has directed includeHeroman,Gosick, andGolden Kamuy.

Biography

Hitoshi Nanba was born inNiigata Prefecture.[2] He started working in theanime industry in 1982 and was put in charge of directing for the first time withDash! Yonkuro in 1989.[3] FollowingDash! Yonkuro, he directed the anime adaptation ofGosick in 2011.[4] In 2018, he was put in charge of the anime adaptation ofGolden Kamuy.[5]
