Hisingsbron (the Hisingen Bridge) is avertical-lift bridge in centralGothenburg,Sweden, connecting the island ofHisingen to the mainland. The bridge was constructed between 2017 and 2021, replacing theGötaälvbro,[2] and was inaugurated on 5 September 2021 byKing Carl XVI Gustaf.[4]
