Hiroshi Seko (Japanese:瀬古浩司,Hepburn:Seko Hiroshi) is a Japaneseanimescreenwriter. After serving as an episode screenwriter, he was given the role of head screenwriter forSeraph of the End. Since then, he has done screenwriting for many other series, such as critically acclaimed titlesAttack on Titan,Mob Psycho 100,Vinland Saga,Jujutsu Kaisen, andChainsaw Man. He frequently collaborates withWit Studio andMAPPA.

Biography

Hiroshi Seko was born inNagoya, Japan.[1] After doing episode scripts forPanty & Stocking with Garterbelt,Attack on Titan andTerror in Resonance, Seko was put in charge of doing all the screenwriting in the anime adaptation ofSeraph of the End.[2] Seko also wrote theAttack on Titan: Lost Girls novel.[3] In 2016, Seko did the screenwriting for the anime adaptation ofMob Psycho 100, which was nominated for anime of the year and won the award for best action series at the firstCrunchyroll Anime Awards.[4][5][6]

In 2019, he did the screenwriting for the anime adaptation ofVinland Saga and the second season ofMob Psycho 100, both of which were nominated for anime of the year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards.[7][8][9]Vinland Saga also won the award for best drama.[10] In 2020, he did the screenwriting forJujutsu Kaisen andDorohedoro.[11][12] At the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, the former won anime of the year, while the latter was nominated for anime of the year and best fantasy.[13][14]
