Wikipedia information page
Therecent changes page is accessed from the interaction menu on Wikipedia's sidebar (displayed on the left side of the screen). It lists the most recent edits made to pages onWikipedia. Using this page, you can monitor andreview the latest contributions to rectify mistakes and countervandalism.
Options can be filtered and display recent changes according to the preferred criteria (present at the top of the recent changes page, containing three sections: "This page", "Utilities" and "About us"). The available filters arefeatured articles,good articles,living people, new editors' contributions, anonymous contributions and mobile contributions as well as bynamespace. It can also be filtered according totags by typing in the specific one, such asvisual edit,large plot addition orblanking, etc.
The 'Recent changes' page is a vital tool for monitoring the latest edits on Wikipedia. It allows editors to identify and correct mistakes, spot potential vandalism, and engage with new contributors, ensuring the encyclopedia's content remains accurate and reliable.
Most (although not all)bot edits should be marked with thebot flag and be hidden by default (if enabled, they will be marked with a letterb in the recent changes logs and inwatchlists). If you see a bot edit that shouldn't appear in the recent change logs or your watchlist, please report it to the bot operator perWP:BOTISSUE.
