Hayuliang is a town and the headquarters of an eponymoussubdivision in theAnjaw district in thenorth-eastern state ofArunachal Pradesh,India.[1] It is on the bank of theLohit River near the confluence of theDelei River.[2][3]
TheHayuliang subdivision, administered by an additional divisional commissioner (ADC), covers the entire Delei River basin including theHayuliang Circle,Metengliang Circle,Goiliang Circle and theChaglagam Circle. It is divided into twocommunity development blocks, the Hayuliang–Goiliang block and the Chaglagam block.[4][3]
The region is populated byMishmis, who speakDigaro Mishmi andKaman Mishmi languages.[1]
It is 308 km away fromArunachal Pradesh's capitalItanagar, 450 km fromImphal, 515 km fromDispur and 543 km from Shillong.
