Hayden Lee Harris (born March 2, 1999) is an American professionalbaseballpitcher for theAtlanta Braves ofMajor League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2025.

Career

Harris attendedGrovetown High School inGrovetown, Georgia and playedcollege baseball atGeorgia Southern University,[1] also playingcollegiate summer baseball in 2021 with theWisconsin Rapids Rafters.[2] He signed with theAtlanta Braves as anundrafted free agent in 2022.[3][4]

Harris played his professional debut with theFlorida Complex League Braves. He pitched 2023 with theAugusta GreenJackets,Rome Braves andMississippi Braves.[1][5] He started 2024 with Mississippi before being promoted to theGwinnett Stripers.[6] Harris was invited to spring training before the 2024 regular season began, and assigned to minor league camp in February.[7] In September, Harris was assigned to thePeoria Javelinas of theArizona Fall League.[8]

Harris began the 2025 campaign with the Double-AColumbus Clingstones, later receiving a promotion to Gwinnett; in 39 appearances for the two affiliates, he compiled a cumulative 6-0 record and 0.56 ERA with 73 strikeouts and four saves. On September 2, 2025, Harris was selected to the40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues for the first time.[9] He made his debut the same day against theChicago Cubs, pitching for a single inning. He was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on September 8.[10] Over 3 games with the Braves, he pitched for2+23 innings, recording 2 walks and 1 earned run.
