Hatomim (Hebrew:התמים) was ascholarly journal published by theChabad-LubavitchHasidic movement.[1] The journal was published under the direction of the sixth Rebbe of Chabad, RabbiYosef Yitzchak Schneersohn.[2] The journal published articles onChabad philosophy andTalmud.
Hatomim was the first Hasidic publication to publish a photograph of a HasidicRebbe. The first was a portrait-photograph of RabbiYosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, the sixth Chabad Rebbe. It was published in a 1936 edition[3] marking the Rebbe's liberation from Soviet imprisonment.[4]
