Hashem Beikzadeh (Persian:هاشم بیک زاده, born January 22, 1984, inTehran) is a formerIranianfootballdefender andassistant coach ofBaadraan Tehran F.C.
Beikzadeh is a product of theFajr Sepasi youth academy and since his promotion to the first team squad for the2005/06 season has been one of Fajr's most important and influential players. He moved toEsteghlal and won the league in his first season but did not play in many matches. On 8 July 2014, Beikzadeh signed a contract extension withEsteghlal, keeping him at the club until 2016. On 26 July 2015, he joinedSaba Qom after terminating his contract withEsteghlal.[3]

He debuted for theIran national team, known as Team Melli, in August 2006 in a friendly match againstUAE. Beikzadeh was again called up to Team Melli for theWest Asian Football Federation Championship 2007 held inAmman,Jordan. He scored his first goal for Iran on June 24, 2007, in a 2–1 final match win versusIraq.He was called up again for2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying, and played againstKuwait as a left back. On 1 June 2014, he was called into Iran's2014 FIFA World Cup squad byCarlos Queiroz.[4] He was an unused substitute in the tournament, losing his spot toMehrdad Pooladi because of injury. He was called into Iran's2015 AFC Asian Cup squad on 30 December 2014 by Queiroz.[5] He was replaced byMohammad Reza Khanzadeh due to injury days before the first match in Australia.[6]

He is married and has two daughters,[7] Beikzadeh is originallyIranian Azerbaijani fromArdabil Province.[8][9]
