Harun Kola (Persian:هارون كلا)[a] is a neighborhood in the city ofBabakan[b] inDasht-e Sar District ofAmol County,Mazandaran province,Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, Harun Kola's population was 937 in 255 households, when it was a village inDasht-e Sar Rural District[c] ofDabudasht District.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,018 people in 295 households.[2]

In 2012, the village ofEjbar Kola was merged with the villages of Harun Kola,Khuni Sar,Nafar Kheyl, andNajjar Mahalleh to become a larger village of the same name.[5] Ejbar Kola was converted to a city in 2017[7] and renamedBabakan in 2019.[4]
