Harry Schüssler (born 24 June 1957) is aSwedishchessGrandmaster (GM) (1988), two-timeSwedish Chess Championship winner (1976, 1978),Chess Olympiad individual silver medal winner (1980).
From the mid-1970s to the end of the 1980s, Harry Schüssler belonged among the top Swedish chess players.He achieved his first international success at the turn of 1972/73, taking 3rd place in the traditional junior chess tournament inHallsberg. In 1975, inTjentište Harry Schüssler represented Sweden inWorld Junior Chess Championship and together withAdam Kuligowski shared 5th-6th place.[1] He twice wonSwedish Chess Championship: in 1976 and 1978.
