Hieronym Anthony “Harry” Jacunski (October 20, 1915 – February 20, 2003) was an Americanfootball player and coach. He played as anend for theGreen Bay Packers of theNational Football League (NFL). After his playing career, he was acollege football coach for 35 years.

Jacunski was an all-statecenter on theNew Britain High School 1934basketball team and played college football withVince Lombardi atFordham University, where Jacunski was one of Fordham's "Seven Blocks of Granite". In 1938 he was co-captain of the Fordham football team where he started asend.

He played in the NFL for six seasons (19391944) asdefensive end for theGreen Bay Packers, who were NFL champions in1939 and1944.[1]

In 1945 he started a 35-year coaching career: one year atUniversity of Notre Dame, two years atHarvard University, and the last 33 years atYale University.[2] Jacunski was inducted into both the Fordham andGreen Bay Packers Hall of Fame.[3]
