The Harbor 14 is an updated development of the 1960Capri 14keelboat, which was, in turn, derived from the 1958Lido 14sailing dinghy.[1][2][3][4]
The design was built byW. D. Schock Corp in the United States, starting in 2004, but it is now out of production.[1][2][5][6]
The Harbor 14 is a recreationalkeelboat, built predominantly offiberglass, with wooden trim. It displaces 525 lb (238 kg) and carries 250 lb (113 kg) of ballast.[1][2]
It has afractionalsloop rig, a spoonedraked stem, an angledtransom, a transom-hungrudder controlled by atiller with an extension and a fixed finkeel. The foredeck is covered and the boat has a long cockpit.[1][2]
