Hapoel Ashkelon (Hebrew:הפועל אשקלון) was an Israeliwomen's football club fromAshkelon, who competed in theIsraeli Women's Football League and theIsraeli Women's Cup.
The club was among the first established in Israel and joinedLigat Nashim in the league'sfirst season,[1] Where it played for the next four seasons. In2000–01, the club advanced to the Women's Cup semi-finals, losing to eventual cup winner,Hapoel Tel Aviv 2–7.[2]
At the end of theseason, after the club finished bottom of the league, the club folded.
