TheHammond Ciesar All-Americans were a professionalbasketball team that competed in theNational Basketball League. They were based inHammond, Indiana, and played in theHammond Civic Center for home games.
The team was founded in 1936 by car dealer Eddie Ciesar inWhiting, Indiana as theWhiting Ciesar All-Americans, where they played in theMidwest Basketball Conference. They changed their name in for the 1938–39 season to the Hammond Ciesar All-Americans, and joined theNational Basketball League. They disbanded after the 1940–41 season.[1]
